The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. – Psalm 19:1-2 NIV
God has revealed His glory in His creation. When we stop and simply observe all that God has created it is incredible. He has spoken all things into existence. The Lord will continually teach us about His kingdom through His creation.
There are some who would look at the beauty of creation and reject the existence of God. But people are without excuse. His beauty and glory surrounds us on a daily basis. The more we draw near and seek Him, the more we simply become consumed by Him. May our whole hearts be given to the Lord. May we desire to simply glorify and honor His name.
But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
1 Corinthians 2:9 NKJV
We who have placed our faith in Jesus Christ will one day spend all eternity in the Lord’s kingdom. We will rule and reign with Him. Our life now upon the earth is but a breath and we cannot imagine the glory that awaits us when we finally leave this earth. The Lord has given us this time now and the lives we have to simply glorify and honor His name.
Those who live according to the world’s system and reject Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior fail to understand all that is available to God’s children. Yes in this world we will be persecuted and we will face trials and tribulations but they fail to compare with all that awaits us in eternity. Always keep your eyes focused upon the Lord and Him alone. Trials and challenges we face can seem very overwhelming when we are going through them, but we must keep our eyes upon God’s kingdom.
Let us simply begin each day in the Lord’s presence. Let us not come to Him at first with petition upon petition, but let us enter His courts with thanksgiving and prayer. One thing we learn as we grow in maturity with Jesus Christ is that the Lord will provide every need in due time. We will never lack for anything, but we can know in our hearts that His hand is mightily upon us. Keep pressing on and know that the King is coming soon.
