Continue to pray for Donald Trump

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.  1 Timothy 2:1-2

One of the strategies of the enemy in the nation of America is to delegitimize Donald Trump as the president of the United States.  Every president put in place in America through out its history has been put their for a reason.  The Lord is the one who raises up kings and tears them down.  He allows people into positions of leadership for a season of time.

God has a plan for Donald Trump and He has a plan for America.  He will fulfill His plans and purposes in this nation and as His sons and daughters we are called to be faithful in the place of prayer.  We need to pray that God’s hand would be upon Donald Trump.  That His protection would surround Him.  That His wisdom and His strength would fill Donald Trump.

God has brought Donald Trump forth at this hour to be His wrecking ball.  We already see the effects on the broken governmental system in Washington DC.  In the coming days we will see even more things shaken and we will see some who are in power removed from those positions and new leaders put in their place.

I have seen some Christian website talking about preparing for Pence as president.  This is a tactic of the enemy to get God’s people to stop praying for our current president.  He is not a perfect man, but he is the vessel that God has chosen to use.  I know people have a wide range of opinions about Donald Trump, but as followers of Jesus Christ we are simply called to pray for those in leadership.

May we pray that all that is done in the dark would be brought forth into the light.  We live in exciting and important times.  We are on the door step of the Lord’s return for His bride.  There is a mighty harvest before us and we must bring all things before the Lord in prayer.  Continue to pray and seek the face of the Lord.  His will be done, His kingdom come on earth as it is in Heaven.

One mediator also between God and men

“For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all, the testimony given at the proper time.”‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭2:5-6‬ ‭NASB‬‬

Jesus is our mediator between us and God the Father. Through the blood of Jesus we are able to draw near to God with confidence and boldness. There is nothing that stands between us and God once we are in Christ.

Our past no longer remains. Satan will often try to remind us of our past. But our eyes should always be fixed upon Jesus who is our future. All that we have in God and all we will be is found in Jesus alone. When our eyes are fixed upon Jesus we simply walk in the peace of God.
