2 Corinthians 10:17-18

But “he who glories, let him glory in the Lord.” For not he who commends himself is approved, but whom the Lord commends. 2 Corinthians 10:17-18

Everything we do should be done to glorify the name of Jesus. Those who try to glorify their own names or who use the name of Jesus for their own glory are fools. When we stand before the Lord some day we will give an account of our lives and how we used the gifts and talents God gave us. For those who accomplished things for God's kingdom with wrong motives will have those things burned up. But those who served the Lord with a pure heart will receive great rewards in God's kingdom.
