“Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God; Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness.”
Psalms 143:10 NKJV
One of the greatest things we can ask of the Lord is to teach us to do His will. Many times we can become self-centered in our prayers. It is ugly when all we do is stand before the Lord in prayer demanding self-centered things. It is not with a pure heart and all we do is treat God like He is a genie.
But when we begin to pray and ask Him to teach us to do His will we move beyond being focused on self and we move toward being focused on God. This is where maturity happens. This is when our hearts and minds align with His.
He will always lead and guide us into all truth. He says if we lack wisdom to simply ask. We may have confusion or be ignorant of His will for our lives. All we need to do is cry out in prayer. He will lead and guide us and accomplish His will in His due time. Cry out my brother and sister. Just keep crying out and drawing near.
