“Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.”
Hebrews 7:25 NKJV
The Lord is able to save to the uttermost. Those the Lord has chosen are drawn by the Holy Spirit. Salvation is a work of the power of the Holy Spirit. It is not based on an emotional response but is based on a decision made in the human heart.
The only way salvation takes place is when repentance has happened. A decision to follow Christ and accept Him as savior without repentance is not biblical salvation. It is only when we place our faith and trust in Jesus and turn from our sins that we are saved. The Lord is able to save to the utter most. If we have placed our faith and trust in Jesus we never need to fear of losing our salvation because it is the grace and power of God that saves us and keeps us.
