The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.”

The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.”
They are corrupt, they have committed abominable [a]deeds;
There is no one who does good.
The Lord has looked down from heaven upon the sons of men
To see if there are any who [b]understand,
Who seek after God.
They have all turned aside, together they have become corrupt;
There is no one who does good, not even one.  Psalm 14:1-3

A person who says there is no God is defined as a fool in the bible.  We live in a culture and day in which because of people’s pride and sin they don’t believe in the existence of God.  Things have become very comfortable and they see themselves as the center of all things.

But when a person rejects the Lord and the truth of who He is they are simply left with darkness and wickedness.  Evil and wickedness on the earth is simply a result of humanities rejecting of God and who He is.  The human heart is inherently wicked and the only answer we have for the sin in our lives is the precious blood and sacrifice of Jesus.

All who are born upon this earth are born into sin.  Those who have received Jesus as Lord and Savior have humbled themselves before God and asked Him for forgiveness.  But many more have rejected God and His ways.  Jesus said that narrow is the road that leads to life and few would find it, but broad is the road that leads to destruction and many would find it.

We are not called to argue anyone into God’s kingdom.  We are called to plant seeds and live lives that reflected His character, holiness, love, grace, and mercy.  We are the body of Christ and we are an extension of Jesus hands and feet upon the earth.  May we seek Him daily and continue to abide until His soon return.
