In God is my salvation and my glory

In God is my salvation and my glory; The rock of my strength, And my refuge, is in God.

Psalm 62:7 NKJV

No matter what we face in this life we will overcome.  The reason this is true is simply because of who Jesus is.  Jesus has already overcome the curse of sin and death.  Jesus has already overcome the grave.  He has been given all authority by the Father and He sits at the right hand of the Father interceding for us.  Every battle belongs to Him and He goes before us and prepares every step.

There are moments in this life when we feel overwhelmed and there are moments in this life where we may even think that God has forgotten us or abandoned us.  But through all things He walks with us.  He feels all of our pain and He sees all of our tears.  Nothing we go through in this life is in vain.  He will restore all things in His due time.  But He is simply asking us to trust Him.

Trusting the Lord is not easy.  But as we grow in maturity we learn that His word is true and throughout His word He has proved Himself faithful time and again.  He is perfect and He is without error or mistake.  His will is sovereign and no matter how dire our circumstances look, everything can change in a moment.  Let us simply trust Him every step of the way and abide in Him daily.  He will strengthen us and lead and guide us through the Holy Spirit.  Keep your eyes fixed upon Him and know in your heart that He will bring every plan and purpose of your life to pass.
