To Him who loved us and washed us

To Him who loved us and washed[a] us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings[b] and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.  Revelation 1:5b-6

We have been washed by Jesus.  Through His blood our sins are washed away and they no longer remain.  We have been declared righteous in the eyes of our Father and are able to draw near.  We are kings and priests because through Jesus we have authority.  Whatever we bind on earth is bound in Heaven and whatever we loose on earth is loosed in Heaven.  The Lord uses us as His vessels to carry out His will upon the earth.  As we go before Him in prayer we are used to bring forth His will.

We are priests because we are able to go boldly before the throne of grace with confidence.  Under the Old Covenant the only ones who were able to enter the temple were the priests and the only one who was able to enter the holy of holies was the high priest on the day of Atonement.  Jesus is our compassionate and faithful high priest.  He has may the way possible for us to draw near unto our Father in Heaven without fear.

Today fix your heart upon Jesus and pray as the Holy Spirit leads.  Pray in the Spirit on all occasions and pray all things in the mighty name of Jesus.  The Lord is moving mightily in the earth and desires to accomplish much in this hour.  Through social media and other technology He is connecting the body of Christ so that His sons and daughters walk in agreement and unity.  When we walk in agreement in unity it sets the stage for His glory to be manifested in the earth.  Where two or more agree on anything it is accomplished.
