Blessed is the man who endures temptation James 1:12-15

12 Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. 13 Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. 14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. 15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.  James 1:12-15

In this world we will face temptation.  It is not God who tempts us but the devil.  The demonic angels who follow and give allegiance to Satan move throughout the world tempting the hearts of humanity.

The choices a person makes is their responsibility.  Whether a person spends eternity in Heaven or Hell is based upon the choices and decisions they have made throughout the course of their lives.  Those who choose righteousness and place their faith in Jesus Christ will spend all eternity in God’s kingdom.  Those who seek the ways of the world and indulge in the things of wickedness will spend all eternity separated from Almighty God in the lake of fire.

The topic and subject of Hell is rarely preached about anymore and many people don’t even believe it exist.  But the truth is that Hell does indeed exist and it has been created for any being that God has created that rejects His Lordship over their life.  The angels who rebelled against God with Satan will spend all eternity in the lake of fire.  Every person born upon the earth who fails to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior will spend all eternity in the lake of fire.  The reason is because they die in their sin.  The only thing that forgives and removes sin is the blood of Jesus.

God daily knocks on the hearts of people but sadly He is rejected by many.  People desire the comfort and desires of the flesh and in the end as they indulge more and more into sin their hearts are hardened and their lives are bound by the darkness of the enemy.  We never need to apologize for the truth we believe and hold to.

God loves humanity and has given His life for their salvation.  But in the end He has given everyone the choice of whether or not to follow after Him.  Jesus calls people to deny themselves and pick up their cross.  To follow Jesus means to give up sin and the ways of the world.

We have two choices in this world.  We are either going to follow God and His kingdom.  Or we are going to follow after this world and the deceptions of Satan.  In the end all will stand before Jesus and those who have faithfully followed Him will be greatly rewarded in His kingdom.  Prepare your hearts because He is returning soon.
