Blessed is the man whose strength is in You

Blessed is the man whose strength is in You,
Whose heart is set on pilgrimage.
As they pass through the Valley of Baca,
They make it a spring;
The rain also covers it with pools.
They go from strength to strength;
Each one appears before God in Zion.  Psalm 84:5-7

Those who find their strength in the Lord will be truly blessed.  As we continue to move forward and continue to move toward the return of the Lord for His bride things upon the earth will become more and more difficult and will become more and more intense.  The Lord is setting apart and preparing His bride for His return.  He is testing every heart and determining those who truly love Him and those who merely give Him lip service.

There are many who simply wear the name Christian as a title. Their churches are nothing more than social clubs that have a form of godliness but deny the power of the Living God.  As the days ahead escalate there will be those who have claimed to follow Christ who will abandon their walk with the Lord.  The Lord has been calling to His people time and again draw near and remove every idol and hindrance.  Those who have been faithful to do this will stand the difficult times that are coming and will hear when the trumpet calls.

To follow Jesus Christ means to abandon this world and its ways.  It is not biblical to have one foot in God’s kingdom and one foot in the world.  Jesus said for any man to follow after Him that they would need to deny themselves and pick up their cross.  Bearing a cross is not a pleasant or comfortable experience.  It is actually very painful but can only be accomplish through the strength and power of Almighty God.  This requires us to abide in the Lord daily.  Those who are faithful to abide will stand the test and be used mightily in these last days.  The trumpet shall sound soon and the return of the Lord is at hand.
