For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
The word of God is more powerful than we even realize. When the word of God is spoken the power of the Holy Spirit has the opportunity to change lives. So many times in America we fail to read and spend time in God’s word because we allow the busyness of life to take hold. But if we would simply understand the power in God’s word and understand when we bath our lives in God’s word that our lives are transformed from the inside out by the power of the Holy Spirit.
We need to draw near to the Lord each day and spend time in His word. As we abide in Him daily the Holy Spirit will prepare our hearts for the rapture of the church. The Holy Spirit will prepare us for the things God has destined us for. All of us have been chosen before the foundations of the world and have been designed and equipped for this hour. The key to learning to walk in the things God has for us is simply drawing near to Him and spending time in prayer and God’s word.
