God is my strength and power

32 “For who is God, except the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God?
33 God is my strength and power,[e]
And He makes my[f] way perfect.
34 He makes my[g] feet like the feet of deer,
And sets me on my high places.
35 He teaches my hands to make war,
So that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.  2 Samuel 22:32-35

It is incredible when you study the Bible and see that the same one who created all things from His spoken word, is the same one who chose to lay down His life for us.  When He created humanity He knew that they would choose to disobey Him and be bound by sin.  He knew that He would have to lay down His own life to set them free.

We serve the Lord God Almighty who chooses very humble and broken people to accomplish the impossible upon the earth.  Many times when we look at situations and trials with our own eyes we see things as impossible and it seems as if we are often overwhelmed.

But we need to see the things we face through the eyes of God.  God is simply asking us to place things in His hands.  He is asking us to pray without ceasing and to simply trust Him.  He has promised to move in the place of prayer, but so many times we allow discouragement and doubt to keep us from the place of prayer.

The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells within us.  When we as a people become a people of prayer we shall see His glory manifested in our midst.  The things we read about in the book of Acts are possible today, but the key is that the first century church were a people who were committed to prayer.  They prayed in all circumstances and simply trusted the Lord with their whole hearts.

Today we face many challenges.  Many today are opening their hearts more and more to the demonic realm.  It is causing deep darkness to fill the earth.  As believers in Christ we are not called to live in fear, but we are called to respond in the place of prayer.  Prayer must become something more than we just due, it must become who we are.  We must live in continual fellowship with the Lord and as He leads us, we must be obedient to pray.  Never allow doubt, discouragement, fear, or worry to keep you from the place of prayer.  God is moving mightily on the earth and is simply seeking those who are faithful to pray.
