Romans 2:5-11: But because of your stubbornness

5 But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed. 6 God “will repay each person according to what they have done.”[a] 7 To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. 8 But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. 9 There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile; 10 but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. 11 For God does not show favoritism. Romans 2:5-11.
Those who reject the love and mercy of God are storing up against themselves the wrath of God. It is the Lord’s desire that none should perish but He has given everyone freewill to choose Him or reject Him. Those who reject Him will stand in judgement before Him and will experience the wrath of God for all eternity. He cannot be in the presence of sin and the only answer for sin is Jesus Christ.
Those who seek after the Lord with all their heart and follow Him on a daily basis will spend all eternity with Him. Following Jesus Christ is not a one time decision or a get out of jail free card. It is a life devoted to seeking first God’s kingdom and His righteousness.
But for anyone who would reject the Lord and simply seek after the desires of the sinful nature their eternity will be separated from God in the Lake of fire. God has made His truth very clear in His word. Many Christians are ignorant of God’s word and because of this they continue to live in bondage.
God does not show favoritism. Salvation is a gift available to all people. Those who humble themselves before Jesus Christ and make Him Lord and Savior will spend all eternity in God’s kingdom. But those who reject Jesus Christ will spend all eternity separated from God. The truth is clear and it all comes down to what we decide to do concerning Jesus Christ.
