Romans 1:18-20: The wrath of God is being revealed

18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
Romans 1:18-20
The reason people are able to commit the wickedness upon the earth that they do is that they suppress the truth of who God is. When a person rejects the existence of God and the truth of who Jesus Christ is their heart is open to the darkness of the enemy. In the absence of light the only thing that remains is darkness. There will come a day and time in which God’s judgment will be poured out upon the earth. When His will is fulfilled in the body of Christ, the bride will be taken home and judgement will begin upon the earth.
People are without excuse. When a person looks at creation they are left with two choices. Either God created all things or He did not. He has left His fingerprint in everything that He has created. When a person rejects the existence of God, their heart becomes harden to the Lord and as a result they become fair game for the enemy. A person who desires to know the Living God and believes that He exist is drawn by the Holy Spirit into relationship with Him. God never sends anyone to hell, people in their own freewill choose to reject God and as a result will spend all eternity separated from Him.
Another reason people reject the existence of God is because it means that they would be accountable to someone greater than themselves for their actions. People in their pride see themselves as sole control of their lives and as a result reject the existence of God. Daily the Lord throughout the earth reaches out to hearts and lives. On a daily basis the Holy Spirit is knocking on hearts, but people in their pride and arrogance reject the drawing of the Holy Spirit. What is very sad is that the more they reject the drawing of the Holy Spirit and indulge in the things of the world, the more their heart becomes hardened towards the things of the Lord. Let us intercede daily for those who are lost that their hearts be soften and their eyes be open to the truth.
