But when the set time had fully come

But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship.

Galatians 4:4-5 NIV

The Lord has set times for all things.  His will is sovereign and before He created the world and all that we see around us He had a plan in place not only for the redemption of humanity but when His kingdom would be established upon the earth.

No man knows the day or hour of the Lord’s return.  He has established it this way so that we would live each day in anticipation of His return.  Nothing on earth happens by accident and everything has an eternal purpose behind it.

Many times we see terrible things happen and we may ask the question why God allows wicked things to happen.  His ways are above our ways but the one thing we know is that He will use everything the enemy has meant for wickedness for the goodness of His people and the glory of His name.

It is easy to get focused on the many negative things we see around us.  But the Lord is fully in control and our hearts and minds must be focused upon the Lord above.  He is moving mightily in the earth preparing His people for His return.  He has a specific time in place when He shall return and we must diligently seek Him and allow the Holy Spirit to prepare our hearts.

The Lord is calling us to be set apart.  He is calling us to set aside the ways of the world and what the world desires, and to fully embrace His kingdom and come to know His heart.  As we seek Him with our whole heart it is the Holy Spirit who shall transform us from the inside out.
