Let him by His good conduct show his deeds

Who among you is wise and intelligent? Let him by his good conduct show his [good] deeds with the gentleness and humility of true wisdom.

James 3:13 AMP

Christianity is a living relationship with the Living God.  If we are truly walking with Jesus Christ on a daily basis and spending time in God’s word then we will naturally be changed by the power and leading of the Holy Spirit.  The whole purpose of walking with Jesus Christ is to be changed into His image.

During His earthly ministry the disciples spent so much intimate time with the Lord because they were being trained to change the world.  The only way that we are truly changed and transformed is by drawing near to the Lord.  Jesus through His shed blood has taking away every hindrance from drawing near to the Father.

All of us are born into sin and because of sin we are separated from the Living God.  But Jesus through His death and resurrection has set us free and made the way possible to draw as near as we desire to the Lord.  If we will simply draw near through prayer and the reading of God’s word we will be transformed.  We are simply transformed through the renewing of our minds as we meditate upon God’s word.  It doesn’t matter where we have come from, it only matter where we are going and who we call Lord and Savior.
