Intent on one purpose

[ Be Like Christ ] Therefore if there is any encouragement and comfort in Christ [as there certainly is in abundance], if there is any consolation of love, if there is any fellowship [that we share] in the Spirit, if [there is] any [great depth of] affection and compassion, make my joy complete by being of the same mind, having the same love [toward one another], knit together in spirit, intent on one purpose [and living a life that reflects your faith and spreads the gospel—the good news regarding salvation through faith in Christ].

Philippians 2:1-2 AMP

When the body of Christ walks in unity there is nothing that can stand before it.  We are God’s children and we are covered by the blood of Jesus.  We walk in the authority of Christ and we are seated with Christ in Heavenly places.  The greatest resource we have on this earth for impacting the earth for God’s kingdom is prayer.  Through prayer the doors are open for the gospel to go forth and for greater doors of ministry to be open.

The enemy will always try to sow seeds of division and this usually comes in either people becoming offended or people becoming critical.  It is all a result of pride and if we will simply walk in love and humility our hearts will be guarded from the attacks of the enemy.

We face an enemy who is without authority or power.  He is already defeated and the only thing he has left is lies and deceptions.  The only time we are defeated by the enemy is when we succumb to the lies of the enemy and fail to recognize them.  If we will simply walk in deep fellowship and intimacy with the Holy Spirit we will walk in victory and be the overcoming sons and daughters the Lord has called us to be.
