I will carry you

Even to your old age, I am He, And even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; Even I will carry, and will deliver you.

Isaiah 46:4

The Lord will never leave us nor forsake us.  Jesus told us in this world we will have trouble.  Persecutions and trials are a natural part of true Christianity.  For too long a false gospel has been preached that has been focused on fulfilling the desires of self.  People have presented a false gospel and when people have decided to follow Jesus and begin to face trials they abandon the faith because they were not told the truth about following Christ.

We have brothers and sisters who are suffering all over the world.  We have those who have lost family members, those who have been displaced, those who wake up every day and have no idea if this is the day they will go home to be with the Lord.  The sad thing is that many who live in America fail to understand what believers are facing around the world.

The seven letters to the seven churches are vital for this hour in history.  Those seven churches represent so many different things.  They were seven churches that existed during John’s day, they were seven periods during church history and they are seven spiritual states of local churches that exist now on the earth.  In America we fall under the Laodicean and we have become lukewarm and have allowed the comforts of this world to keep us from the deeper place the Lord desires for us to go.

Let us pray daily for those who are suffering.  Let us press into the deep places with the Lord even when we face trials and are in the midst of a very difficult trial.  It is the trials that we face that mold and shape who we are in Christ.  We must allow the Lord to have His perfect work and we must wait patiently upon the Lord as He leads and guides us through every trials.  He will never leave us nor forsake us, we simply need to focus our eyes and hearts on the Lord daily.  He will strengthen us and His grace is always sufficient.
